In The Khang Show, singer Cam Ly surprised the audience by revealing her true feelings after her husband Minh Vy shared about shaving his head for her. The singer confided: "Honestly, I didn't think he would say it on television. There was an agreement between us not to talk about private matters, I just wanted to talk about work. When I heard him share, I was a little stunned."

Cam Ly said that moment made her emotional shed tears. When asked about the reason for shaving his head, musician Minh Vy confided that he had done this twice in his life. "For the first time, when my mother was seriously ill, I vowed that if she got better, I would shave my head to relieve her bad luck. Recently, when my wife had health problems, I also quietly did the same thing. I just thought, as long as she comes home healthy, I'm going to 'lose my hair'," he shared.

At that time, both husband and wife were working as judges for a show. Minh Vy joked that Cam Ly is usually active, but when she is sick, she can only sit still. The singer also added: "I didn't expect him to really do that. His mother asked why he shaved his head, and he lied that he was acting in a movie, playing the role of a gypsy, so he had to get a tattoo. The day he shaved his head was also the first day I came home. I was resting when he appeared with a bald head, it turned out that he had just come home from work, and then came back the same day."

Previously, Cam Ly had to suspend singing because of chronic polysinusitis, and had to go to the US for treatment. During that time, Minh Vy was always by her side to take care of her, a solid spiritual support. The singer once said: "I don't have the habit of telling marriage stories or showing off my happy family. Everyone just needs to see that we are still working together, good children, peaceful homes, that's enough."

The male musician, whose real name is Doan Huu Minh, is one of Vietnam's prominent music producers, as well as the founder of Kim Loi Studio – the "cradle" of the legendary series Rain and Dust in the 1990s.

Born into a family of officials, his father is electronic engineer Doan Huu Loi, his mother is a teacher, Minh Vy soon revealed his love for music even though he did not come from an artist background. In his youth, he was famous at school for his talent for singing and composing, but also went through a period of impulsivity, passion for speed and gathering friends. It was only later, when he formed the group "The Silent Sea", that he found a serious direction for music.

From the small studio her father helped build, Minh Vy gradually developed into Kim Loi Studio – the place where a series of stars such as Dinh Van, Tai Linh, Ngoc Hai, Thanh Thao... In 1992, he released the program Rain Bui, opening the era of brilliant Vietnamese tapes and discs. Many musicians such as Nguyen Nhat Huy once revealed: "Anh Minh 'Rain Bui' is very shrewd, just look at the music to guess which song will become a hit".
